Marina Facility Crew Lead
- Secondary School Diploma
- Eligibility for and willingness to obtain Restricted Operators Certificate - Maritime (VHF Radio License) from an accredited association, organization or institution within 90 Days
- Completion of Valid Pleasure Craft Operators Card Certification (PCOC) from an accredited association, organization or institution Upon Hire
- Eligibility for and willingness to obtain WHMIS Training within 30 Days
- Eligibility for and willingness to obtain Workplace Electrical Safety (CSA Z462-15) Training within 30 Days
- Position Equivalency Code: A
- Two (2) years of cumulative part-time experience or one (1) year of full-time experience performing duties related to the above mentioned major responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience utilizing powerboats and sailboats
- General knowledge of the following legislation, regulations, or requirements: Clean Marine and Blue Flag Environmental Regulations
- Working knowledge of the following legislation, regulations, or requirements: Radio Communications Act
- Working knowledge of the following principles and standards: within recreational boating industry.
- Demonstrated Ability to:
- interact effectively and courteously with all levels of staff, and public
- maintain a high standard of public relations at all times
- count and reconcile floats and cash tills, credit cards and debit transactions
- prioritize and multi-task between operational and customer experience tasks
- provide guidance to students regarding the completion of a task if required
- maintain a high level of self-motivation

- Availability, as assigned, to assist with after-hours questions, concerns, or emergencies
- Availability to accommodate deadlines or peak period workloads that may extend beyond designated normal workday hours or normal hours per week
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Valid Ontario Class "G" Driver's Licence in good standing
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check*
- Pay Level: Level 3
- Yearly Salary: $55,827.20 to $66,830.40
- Hourly Pay Rate: $26.84 to $32.13
